As street takeover events continue to cause a major disruption in major cities across the US, law enforcement is cracking down on them big-time, and they mean business. This much is true in a video that has since gone viral where a Ford F-150 pickup driver was seen doing burnouts in a 4-way intersection during an illegal street takeover in Atlanta, Georgia. The expletive-filled footage shows the truck coming dangerously close to bystanders and parked vehicles while performing donuts in the middle of the street.

But chaos ensues immediately after police respond to the event. When George State Patrol Dodge Charger arrives at the scene, the F-150 driver attempts to flee the area by accelerating right through the crowd, striking at least three people in the process. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

When A Dodge Meets A Ford

Thankfully, the chase didn’t last long as the officer was able to execute a textbook pit maneuver, pinning the Dodge Charger against the truck, and rendering it immobile. In an unintentionally Hollywood-like fashion, the officer proceeds to slide over the hood of his patrol vehicle and remove the truck driver through his driver’s side window, making the arrest.

Many photos and videos were captured from bystanders during the arrest, and one particular photo posted to the ATL Muscle Facebook group has gone viral of the officer arresting the F-150 driver on the hood of his car.

Police Aren’t Kidding Around with Street Takeover Events

This arrest is just one example of law enforcement not messing around when it comes to street takeover events across the country. The LAPD announced that they will be making arrests and impounding cars in attendance at street takeovers, with one instance resulting in over 30 arrests and 40 impounded cars in a single night.
