RAM Trolls Ford In Their Own Electric Pickup Truck Teaser

The Ford F-150 Lightning will be the first all-electric pickup truck produced by a major automaker to hit the market in 2022. Many customers were so intrigued by it that Ford announced that they are fully out of stock of the debut 2022 model the day before production was scheduled to begin.

Fully aware of this, Ram made their presence known the same day in a teaser for their own electric pickup truck, the Ram 1500 Revolution by showing off the truck’s outline and headlights with the caption “Time to steal some thunder. Unleashing Fall 2022.”

Despite being behind auto giants Ford and Chevrolet in announcing their own electric pickup truck, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares says they will use this time to their advantage. “But it’s also a fact that we have the opportunity to adjust the competitiveness and the appeal of our own trucks to what they are doing, which is a competitive game, which is a fantastic situation for the consumer because the real winner of this competition is the consumer.”
