PowerNation Soon To Make History On HISTORY®

A new year is upon us, and so are some big moves! Your favorite PowerNation TV shows will soon air on the HISTORY® Channel during the Sunday morning “Drive” automotive programming block. Starting on January 13, 2019, you can catch new episodes of Detroit Muscle, Engine Power, Truck Tech, and XOR every Sunday morning!

We have many more memories to make, but let’s take a step back to some of our past memorable moments. We’ve had some good times here at the RTM studio with the likes of Chip Foose, Don Garlits, Jack Roush, Les Baer, and John Force among many others.

One of our favorite moments was when actor Dax Shepard stopped by the studio to talk about his then-upcoming movie Hit and Run. Dax is a genuine car guy, and he wrote this movie to be appreciated by the real car guy. All of the cars in the movie were his very own personal vehicles, and all of the stunts were real and performed by Dax himself. That beautiful old-school Lincoln Continental is one of his own, and it’s no sissy. Stuffed inside the Continental is a 514ci Ford Crate motor with fuel injection, huge Wilwood brakes, coilover suspension, and a built C6 transmission. The off-road 700+ horsepower Baja 1000 buggy is also owned by Dax and used in the movie for stunts. Hit and Run also features his now-wife Kristen Bell, Tom Arnold, and Bradley Cooper.

We can’t wait to embark on this new adventure and to make more memories with you all.
