A “Drift Stick” You Can Add To Your Focus RS

If an automaker is going to release a new idea, SEMA is the place to do it. And Ford Performance took advantage of that when they released new tech for Focus RS owners…the Drift Stick. It’s a rally-style aluminum handbrake than can slip over the stock handbrake.

The RS is already equipped with drift mode, which is computer programming that allows the AWD and torque vectoring system to work with stability control. But the Drift Stick takes it one step further and lets you do a rally-inspired handbrake turn instead of a traditional drift. It goes on sale December 1st for $1,000 at local Ford dealerships. Would you add it to your RS?
