750,000 GM Trucks and SUVs Under Investigation For Potentially Faulty Airbags

Almost three-quarter of a million GM trucks and SUVs are being investigated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after the driver’s airbag didn’t deploy during six crashes.
The NHTSA put out a report last week on the investigation which stated the issue is most likely related to a malfunction indicator. According to the report affected vehicles could include The problem could affect both 2020 and 2021 Chevy Silverados, Suburbans, and Tahoes, GMC Sierras and Yukons, and Cadillac Escalades, XT4s, CT4s, and CT5s.
While there have been eight injuries in correlation with the airbags, thankfully there have been zero fatalities.
