Rusty’s Pro-2 Race Truck! – PowerNation Week #40

 

It’s a full PowerNation this week with 4 new episodes from the shops, plus Courtney welcomes Mr. Off Road himself – Rusty Megois and his son Tony. We all know Rusty’s Off Road for their extensive parts company and close work with the Xtreme and Truck Tech shops. Now he’s branched out to off road racing with this Pro-2 race truck and it really does make a lot of sense for his company. Son Tony is behind the wheel of a 900 horsepower Jeep Comanche that they race in the TORC series. It has 18” of wheel travel in the front and 22” in the rear and rolls on 35” BFG tires. What they’ve learned this first year racing has been invaluable because the new Jeep suspensions that are coming out with be exactly like the one they’re running on the Pro-2. So the team feels they’ll get a large and useful amount of data and real world information that will translate into better parts you can get from Rusty.
