New 2017 ROUSH 670HP Stage 3 Mustangs Deliver Power, Looks and Legacy

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MICH. (June 7, 2016) — ROUSH Performance is a world-renowned builder of vehicles with the raw power, looks and legacy that passionate drivers crave. The new 2017 model year ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is now available for order from authorized ROUSH Performance dealerships across the United States. The new model year kicks off with the top-of-the-line 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang, powered by a Ford Coyote 5.0L V8 engine topped with a ROUSH 2.3L Eaton TVS (Twin Vortices Series) supercharger. The ROUSHcharged engine pumps out an astounding 670 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque in a fully warrantied package built in America. The ROUSH 2.3L Eaton TVS supercharger was developed in conjunction with Ford Performance and has been designed, engineered and manufactured for high-performance durability and emissions compliance.

“The 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is a direct reflection of our culture at ROUSH Performance,” said Justin Schroeder, Roush’s vice president of products. “Our people are passionate about creating the high-performance lifestyle. We live it, and want to enable our customers to live it as well.”

Drivers can opt for the TrakPak three-way adjustable coil-over suspension. It has been custom-tuned by World Challenge professional driver Jack Roush Jr. to achieve 1.07g skid-pad performance. Standard 20-inch Quicksilver wheels are wrapped in ultra-high performance Cooper RS3 tires.

The 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 turns heads on the street or at the track, thanks to its R7 front fascia kit. This kit includes front fascia with aero pockets, high-flow upper grille with RS3 badge, high-flow lower opening, front chin splitter, and performance driving lamps. Customization goes a step further with style and coloring options for Dual Slash or Hockey Stripe graphics packages, along with side, hood and ROUSHcharged accents.

Adding the patented Active Exhaust system with quad tips and rear valence gives drivers the choice of four selectable modes to tune their exhaust sound. Active Exhaust offers three distinct pre-loaded modes as well as a custom mode to allow drivers to program a sound map from their Apple device via a free iOS application, providing virtually endless sound possibilities.

The 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang offers new ways for drivers to customize their ride including an available low-gloss black rear deck lid spoiler, forged palladium gray wheels, optional coil covers with a new red-and-black design, and optional ROUSH hood strut lifts.
