NASCAR Driver Jimmie Johnson Retiring After 2020 Season

NASCAR icon Jimmie Johnson has announced he plans to retire from full-time racing at the end of the 2020 season.

After seven NASCAR Cup Series wins with Hendrick Motorsports, Johnson’s time on the track is coming to an end.
Johnson debuted in the series in 2001 and won five straight championships from 2006 to 2010, adding two more in 2013 and 2016.
With 83 race victories under his belt, he is currently the oldest full-time driver in the series. Now, he’s “#Chasing8 one final time.”
