GM Issues Stop-Sale On 2020 V6 Camaro Over Potential Emmissions Problem

GM is investigating a potential emissions system issue on the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro equipped with the 3.6L V6 LGX engine.

If you were hoping to head down to the dealership and pick up the V6 version of the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro, that won’t be happening. At least for now. General Motors has issued a stop-sale on all 2020 Chevrolet Camaro with a 3.6L V6 LGX engine.

According to the GM Authority, GM is currently investigating a concern with bleed loss emissions from the evaporative emissions canister exceeding emissions standard specified for the Bleed Emissions Test Procedure (BETP).

If a fix is needed after the investigation concludes, GM will notify owners and dealers immediately. Never fear though gearheads! The V8 is still available and if you really want one the Turbo 4 cylinder is available as well.
