Goolsby Mustang! – PowerNation 2017 Week #6

Check out Katie’s ride of the week, Tim Spencer’s gorgeous 1969 Mustang built by Goolsby Customs. We first met Tim and his pony car at the SEMA show, featured it in the parade segment of our one hour SEMA Show Special, then invited him here for a closer look. Tim bought the Fastback around 6 years ago sight unseen on the web and got a little more than he bargained for. He turned to Goolsby Customs in Hueytown, Alabama who transformed it in a two year build. They spent 18 months on the body work alone, then painted it in a custom BASF color called “Goolsby Gray”. It rolls on Nutek Wheels and Michelin Tires and is powered by a 420 horse 2014 Coyote engine with a six speed. The interior was done by M & M Interiors with custom seats, a modified dash with gauges from Classic Instruments. This car won the Mothers’ Shine Award and was crowned 2016 Street Machine of the Year. Plus we’ve got some great tech from our shops for you, check it all out on PowerNation this week.
