Bugatti Chiron: 0-236mph in 30 seconds

By now you have probably heard of the Bugatti Chiron. It’s a mid-engined, two-seated sports car that’s BEYOND fast. If there was another word for faster than fast, that’s how you would describe this car.

The Bugatti Chiron was developed and manufactured in Molsheim, France and is the successor to the Bugatti Veyron. The car is named after Monegasque driver, Louis Chiron. It has a 8-liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine that produces 1,479 bhp and 1,180 lb-ft torque. It has a carbon fiber body structure, independent suspension and a Haldex AWD system. It also has a 7-speed automatic transmission.

According to the manufacturer, it will go fro 0-60 MPH in under 2.5 seconds, 0-120MPH in under 6.5 seconds and 0-190 MPH in under 13.6 seconds. For safety reasons, the Bugatti Chiron top speed is electronically limited to 261 MPH. However, the anticipated top speed of the Bugatti Chiron is believed to be around 288 MPH.

It began production in 2016 and has a limit of only 500 being produced. The Bugatti Chiron was very successful when it released, with 200 units sold before the first delivery of the car. The base price for the Chiron is $2,700,000 but that’s the price you pay for a car that can do 0-236 MPH in 30 seconds!
