170 Drivers Come Together To Break Burnout World Record

A group of drivers came together to beat the previous record for longest burnout done in Australia. That record was 126 cars performing a simultaneous burnout.

To beat that, 170 drivers showed up to Bandimere Speedway near Denver, Colorado. Turns out that even though they physically pulled it off, someone forgot to fill out the paperwork.

In order to be considered for a Guinness World Record and officially break previous titles, you need to apply with the organization. This group didn’t want to or forgot to do that. So as of now, Australians still hold the record.

There is a silver lining though. It’s reported that the record can, in fact, be recorded after the event. With $800 and proof of the event, it could be theirs for the taking.
