A U.S. Navy Blue Angels jet crashed during practice this afternoon around 3 p.m. in Smyrna, Tennessee. Rutherford County EMS confirmed one person was killed, though they did not identify who. An eyewitness told WKRN that it does not appear as if the pilot was able to eject. Aircraft number 5 was the one involved in the incident.
