Move Over Ludicrous Mode, Chill Mode Is Here

  11/16/2017

We’ve heard of Tesla’s Ludicrous Mode, but now the automaker is offering Chill Mode for those not as interested in speed. According to The Drive, Chill Mode is catering to people who aren’t fans of car rides and prone to motion sickness.

Chill Mode reportedly makes acceleration more gradual which makes for a smoother ride for passengers. YouTube channel, Drag Times, took an updated Tesla Model S 100D and checked it out and found that even in Chill Mode, the car accelerates in 3.7 seconds which is almost 11% quicker than what Tesla reported. Do you see any advantages to Chill Mode? Why buy a fast car if you want to go slow, right?
