Drivers At A Cars and Coffee Poke Fun At Dodge Owners Using Pool Noodle Splitter Guards

A few months back, Dodge and SRT lead designer, Mark Trostle, made an official statement saying, “I wish they would take them off” after seeing Charger and Challengers owners driving around with yellow plastic splitter guards still on their vehicles.

Initially, Dodge sent out the Charger and Challengers with yellow plastic splitter guards on the leading edge to help prevent damage during transport. However, owners have either decided they liked the look of them or just left them on for other reasons in spite of the “To Be Removed By Dealer” printed on.

Attendees at a Cars & Coffee event decided to have a little fun with said Dodge owners who leave their cars’ splitter guards. The select drivers took yellow pool noodles and attached them to their own cars’ splitters.

Photos were taken and posted to a Facebook group and we have to say, it was a pretty good roast.
