Search and Restore Builds

Ty Cardona sold his Barracuda as a teen to start a family. 26 years later his kids are grown, and a replacement Mopar sits in his driveway undone. Ty's a firefighter who spends his free time helping others. So we decided to help finish his dream car.

The Fabulous Hudson Hornet is legend, in NASCAR racing, in animated film, and now on PowerBlock, when Tim Strange rescues a stalled project from a Michigan viewer. Volunteers gently transform history into a show-stopping lead sled right before your eyes!

Shane Skennonto is a 36 year old construction safety manager in Philadelphia, PA. His girlfriend Amy wrote The PowerBlock asking us to help finish Shane's 1948 Ford F2 pickup that had been sitting in his father's garage since he passed away three years ago. Tim Strange and our Search & Restore team traveled to York, Pennsylvania - to surprise him with makeover of this classic truck, fulfilling a dream both his late father and grandfather had for the family. In spite of being in a wheelchair, gearhead Chad Terhar never let his disability get in the way of his dream of rebuilding his dream car - a classic 1955 Chevy 210 Handyman. His wife calls him "handi-capable!" But when we learned Chad needed help finishing his project, Tim and the team traveled to Tacoma, Washington to surprise him with a well deserved makeover.

Tim and Tommy travel to Colorado Springs, CO where they meet Paul Kahler war veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and current Sergeant in the Colorado National Guard. His brother bought him his dream car when he got out of the Army back in 2006. But the turquoise '67 Mustang Coupe has seen better days. It's trailered back to the PowerBlock Tech Center for a Tim Strange transformation into a modern "G-machine" street rod.

Jason Smelser is a dedicated husband and family man with an under-powered Jeep TJ, so when Search & Restore found out what Jason does to give back to his community, we didn't want to pass up the opportunity to apply some much-needed TLC to his off-road renegade.

The second build for Search & Restore takes us to Pomeroy, Ohio, where Anthony and Cindy Rowe live with their eight children. Anthony has a 1994 GMC 1500, his daily driver he's had to fix every few weeks, that is, until Search & Restore comes to retrieve it.

Andy's '67 Chevy II had been sitting for 2 years, no motor, trans, after cancer took the life of his 30 year old wife. Raising 3 kids solo, left no time or money to rebuild the car the kids call 'Casper'. Our Loctite Team hopes to make a dream come true.
