VW’s Official New Microbus In Production

Volkswagen has confirmed it will be building a production version of the I.D. Buzz concept, MotorTrend reported. The new version of the iconic Microbus will be complete with an electric powertrain and new design. There’s always been talk of the possibility of another Microbus and earlier this year the concept was designed and released saying it would happen by 2022. But now there’s confirmation that the van will be here in 2020.

The I.D. Buzz will have two motors and an 1120-kwh battery to give the van a 270 miles range. It’ll have 369 horsepower and the interior is designed with the idea of the van having full autonomy so it looks more like a living room than a car. Would you buy one?
