Problems With The 2019 RAM Production Is Costing FCA $300 Million

The latest problem for FCA is costing it a cool $300 million. The plant where the 2019 Ram 1500 is being produced is reportedly running below capacity and suppliers aren’t able to build both the 2018 and 2019 models at the same time.

The Michigan plant started production in January but is still under construction but is still about 400 trucks a day behind schedule. To catch up, FCA is keeping the plant running through all weekend and holidays until Labor Day.
