How To Fit A 32-Spline Input Shaft With A NP241 Transfer Case



Truck Tech co-host LT goes over how you can fit a 32-spline input shaft in a NP241 transfer case like they’re doing in the rebuild of the ’89 K5 Blazer. They wanted to replace the original small block and 700 R4 automatic with something stronger. So they put in a 454 big block and 4L80 automatic transmission. Since they’re only running 35″ tall tires the NP241 transfer case will still work. But they show you how to make the 32-spline output shaft work with this setup.
