This Ford GT Shattered A Record At The Texas Mile
A world record was hit at the Texas Mile and it was done in a 2006 Ford GT. The car got a little help from M2K Motorsports but they got the job done because the GT hit 293.6mph. That sets a new standing mile world record according to MotorTrend, check that out. It beat the previous world record by 10 seconds, which ironically was also made by a 2006 Ford GT.
Under the hood is an twin-turbo Accufab 5.4-liter V8. NCS Designs put their touch on it when it came to the tuning, wiring, and calibration. From a dead stop it hit almost 300mph by the time it got to the end of the mile. That’s gettin’ it done!
