Which Car Brands Were Googled Most In 2016?

You can Google just about everything and have your answer within seconds. So Road and Track collected the most Googled car brands from their year-end review…and the results may surprise you.

Coming in at #1 was Honda. Followed sequentially by Mercedes, Tesla, Lamborghini, Volvo, Ford, Jaguar, Bentley, Maserati, and Rolls Royce coming in at number 10. Somehow Toyota and Chevrolet didn’t make the list. Jaguar, Bentley, and Maserati all released their first SUVs this year so they make sense. Volvo stirred up PR with their self-driving technology and Ford released the GT and Focus RS. Lamborghini made it, but Ferrari didn’t just like Mercedes took precedence over BMW. And as for Honda being #1? Well, they sell three of the most purchased cars on the planet… so they can thank the Civic, Accord, and CR-V. Does the list surprise you? Let me know.
