January 20th, 2017
The pony car is back with a new look, improved performance, and better technology. It was debuted at the Detroit Auto show and there’s quite a bit of changes. There are some pretty note-worthy changes starting with a customizable digital gauge cluster that replaces two analog gauges in previous models. You can customize everything from the information displayed to the color and font.
A lowered hood which makes the pony car look a bit more aggressive and also helps with the aerodynamics
Full LED headlights now come standard across the entire lineup. Even the fog lights are LED.
No more V6 option. Sorry, but Ford has discontinued the V6 and made the EcoBoost 2.3-liter turbo-four the base engine.
We don’t know exactly how much horsepower the refreshed GT gets but they did say it gets them through the 5.0-liter V8 with direct and port injection.
You also get more personalization in general, from more color options to wheel choices.
