The New ZR1 Shoots Flames!

There’s been a lot of talk about the new 2019 Corvette ZR1and we’ve seen pictures and promo videos. But Chevrolet posted a video showing the 755 horsepower, 715 lb.-ft. monster accelerating at a high speed, shooting flames out the tailpipes. And it’s not a small flame, it’s a drawn-out blue and white flame that last the length of the acceleration.

After much anticipation and speculation, Chevrolet revealed the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. After the last model in 2009 left Corvette fans wanting more, the ZR1 is faster and more powerful than ever and pushes performance to the limit.

Chevrolet announced that the XR1’s exclusive LT5 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine puts out 755 horsepower and 715 lb.-ft. of torque which makes it a monster on the track. The LT5 has the highest output for any Chevrolet vehicle ever produced, GM’s first dual-fuel injection system and a top speed is reported at over 210 mph. The ZR1 will have 2 aero packages available: a standard Low Wing to hit high top speeds or an adjustable High Wing for better track performance. The 2019 Corvette ZR1 goes on sale next spring, Chevy fans, what do you think?
