Super Cheesy 1982 Ford Mustang TV Commercial

Ah, the 80’s. Back then, commercials were so cheesy and amazing at the same time because of the level of production that went into a simple advertisement. It’s not like nowadays where car commercials are literally just cars driving. Back then a lot of commercials were a lot more creative and sometimes didn’t make any sense but were still really awesome regardless. The premise of this commercial was that if you drove a Mustang in 1982, everyone would come dancing out in the street around it because THAT’S how amazing Mustangs were back then.

We’ve posted 1980’s Ford commercials before and they are all just so great! It’s funny to watch old commercials, regardless what era they’re from because sometimes they’re just instant classics that stand the test of time for genius. This particular commercial also sounds like it features Casey Kasem as the voiceover host which just makes this WAY better. Maybe someday they’ll go back to musical car commercials and all would be well again. What do you think about this? Do you remember this commercial?
