SNL Imagines What A Mercedes Powered By AA Batteries Is Like

Saturday Night Live imagined what a Mercedes would be like powered from AA batteries…9,648 to be exact! With the direction electric cars are going, they thought why bother with a plug and charging when you could power with batteries. They call it the “first fully electric luxury sedan powered entirely by AA batteries” and it has zero emissions with a top speed of 52 MPH…not bad, although that means there is absolutely no chance of ever having a 0-60 speed! So if you find yourself with extra batteries laying around in junk drawers, start saving up!
