Dodge Will Pay You $150,000 To Drive A Hellcat For A Year As ‘Chief Donut Maker’

If you’re looking for a job, Dodge has a new position opening up. Even if you’re not you may want to take a look. The title is “Chief Donut Maker” and pays a cool $150,000 a year.

What do you have to do for that paycheck? The specifics haven’t been released but the general statement released from Dodge is that they’re looking for an “ambassador” who embodies the spirit of the founding Dodge brothers. This includes driving a Hellcat, wearing Dodge apparel to trade shows like SEMA, and doing donuts, we presume. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

This is a portion of Dodge’s ‘Never Lift’ Business Plan. According to Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer Tim Kuniskis, the plan will be news-packed with a minimum of one product (or automotive-enthusiast-related) announcement every quarter.

If the Chief Donut Maker position doesn’t sound quite up your alley, Dodge is also rolling out a massive eight-week, 25-car giveaway it’s calling Operation 25/8. The operation gets its name from the spirit of Dodge and the “Brotherhood of Muscle” that goes above and beyond, 24 hours a day, seven days a week (aka going one more hour, one more day).

It’s reported the 25/8 dream-car giveaway will enlist the support of 25 superstars from the worlds of sports, music and automotive, who will each offer muscle-car enthusiasts a chance to drive off with the new Dodge of their choosing.

While details on both 25/8 and the Chief Donut Maker are still under wraps, Dodge says more details be released Nov. 12, 2021 and Jan. 12, 2022, respectively. You can find all the details on the press release here.
