Cash Covered Streets In Indianapolis
May 3rd, 2018
There's a second city with a highway covered in cash so far this year. This time, in Indianapolis when the back door of a Brinks armored truck opened up while driving down I-70. It's reported that as much $600,000 in loose cash is floating around.
The driver of the truck evidently had no idea what was going on and only stopped after another driver waved him down.
Indiana State Police reported that people were hopping roadway fences to grab as much cash as possible, which is technically theft. People have been encouraged to return any found money to the police station. But be honest, would you grab a handful?
