’50 Merc Lead Sled! – PowerNation Week #39

Check out PowerNation this week with four more brand new shows of tech we hope will inspire you to take your ride to the next level. Plus Courtney welcomes the husband-wife build team behind this flamed 1950 Mercury coupe. Jason and Tasha Graham from Jason Graham Hotrods are here with what is Tasha’s daily driver. They got the car 11 years ago and left it in a shed. 4 years ago Tasha wanted to make the Merc her project so they began the 4 year resto with Tasha hands-on with body work, welding, wet sanding and blocking and picking the paint choice of PPG White Pearl and to go with layers of Candy Gold Flames. They got some paint help from master painter Chris Ryan. The Merc has been nosed, decked and slammed; there is no air ride system, the car really sits that low. It’s motivated by a 383 stroker that makes around 400 horsepower and Tasha has put over 40,000 miles on it since they finished her baby. This ain’t no trailer queen! See for yourself this week on PowerNation.
