SUPER FAST Radial Tire Malibu Goes 3.80 @ 208mph!!

This Malibu is insanely quick!

Some interesting history with the Chevrolet Malibu is that it first began production in 1964 and has continued to be popular today.

The fourth generation Chevrolet Malibu was produced between 1978-1983. A total of three bodystyles were produced which included a station wagon model, a sedan model and a coupe model. This generation of the Malibu introduced the Chevrolet 90° V6 family of engines. The 200 CID 3.3L V6 was the base engine for the all new 1978 Malibu, as well as the 229 CID 3.8L V6 and the 305 CID 5.0L Chevy built V8.

The Malibu was a very popular body style used in NASCAR between 1973-1983.

This thing is awesome though! Old school boxy cars are always fun to modify because for one they’re classics and two, they’re a lot more simple. Plus, the older versions of the Malibu are great for drag racing because they used to all be rear-wheel drive until Chevrolet decided to start making them front wheel drive in 1997.
