East Bound And Down On The Snowman’s Run!

It’s a show you won’t want to miss! This weekend on PowerNation we join the Snowman’s Run. We catch up with the group in Pulaski, TN on their way up to Nashville with a stop at Butler Performance. The run is made up of about 25 Trans Ams, the Buford T. Justice sheriff car, the Big Enos car, and the Snowman’s Rig from the classic Smokey and The Bandit. It doesn’t get much cooler than that.

Ken Ragen who is behind the wheel of the Bandit says it’s a blast and Adam Denino who portrays the Snowman agrees saying there’s nothing quite like hearing the sirens and watching everyone come out for photos as they roll through.

Speaking of the Snowman, the truck on the Snowman’s Run is one of a kind! The 1971 Great Dane was found in an abandoned field and transformed into the awesome replica rig signed by Burt Reynolds himself. The entire restoration took around 6-8 months, and it was worth it!

Co-Founders, Ron Franks and Tyler Hambrick, fill us in on the details of the Snowman’s Run that is a bunch of fans reenacting the movie for charity. They are big on helping veterans by giving to the Disabled American Veterans but also give to several local charities as well. For more information, you can check out snowmansrun.com
