Check Out This Insane Rolls Royce Merlin V12 Spitfire Engine!
Here’s a video of the Rolls Royce Merlin V12 Spitfire engine, and it’s insane to watch! You might want to turn the volume down some, unless you really like to party. You can tell this guy is a petrol head and gets excited pulling the throttle lever insanely close to the spitting flames. The Merlin engine was used in forty aircraft during the World War II, but some of the most noted include the Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane, Avro Lancaster bomber, and the de Havilland Mosquito. The USAAF’s underpowered P51 Mustang was also given a Merlin engine as an upgrade.
