Watch In Horror As Dodge Demon Goes Up In Flames

The Dodge Demon was produced to conquer the drag strip. The Demon Challenger was Dodge’s answer to a factory turn-key drag racing beast with 840 horsepower. Stuffed inside the engine bay is a 6.2L V-8 engine, and it can conquer quarter-mile in under 10-seconds – 9.94 if we are talking numbers. The track-ready Challenger on steroids was already limited with just 3,300 units produced. 3,000 of those were sold in the United States and the 300 others allotted to Canada. That makes this even more cringe-worthy.

Unfortunately, now there is one less Dodge Demon in the world. The talk of the town (or the internet) is that the Demon’s transmission failed which caused the trans fluid to leak. Once the fluid reached the hot exhaust, it was all over from there. This is all still under investigation.

On the bright side – a very small silver lining in an endless sky – is that the entire car didn’t burn. It looks like the front end took the brunt on this charred Challenger. You can pretty much say that this Demon is, well, toast.
