Get Paid To Drive The Wienermobile Across The U.S.

Looking for a job switch? We may have just the thing. Temporarily, at least.

Oscar Mayer is looking for the next brand ambassador to hop behind the wheel of the Weinermobile and navigate it throughout the U.S.

It’s a full-time, paid, 1-year gig (from June to June) perfect for outgoing, creative, friendly, enthusiastic, graduating college seniors who have an appetite for adventure and are willing to see the country through the windshield of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. Applicants should have a BA or BS, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing, though applicants are not limited to these degrees.

The ultimate job responsibilities are to represent Oscar Mayer as a brand ambassador through radio and television appearances, newspaper interviews, grocery retail, and charity functions. To “meat” (get it!) and
greet people from coast to coast. To maintain the company car (the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile). To work with internal and external consumer promotions, marketing and sales professionals. To manage your own traveling public relations rm; organizing promotions, contributing to brand social content and pitching TV, radio and print media.

Oscar Mayer will send you to Hot Dog High in order to learn what it takes to drive the Wienermobile. And at the end, there’s a full DOT test you have to pass. Plus, once you graduate, you get to choose a punny nickname. For example, previous drivers are now known as Rose Beef and Connie Salami.

That’s not all! You’ll also be outfitted with a black and red tracksuit with your title embroidered across the back and of course, a weenie whistle.

If you’re interested applications are being accepted through January 31, 2020.
