Basics Of TIG Welding
The shops use TIG welding all the time but what are the basics and fundamentals behind it? Truck Tech’s LT Tolman goes over it in this PowerNation Extra.
If you don’t know, TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas. The process uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode that delivers the current to the welding arc. The tungsten and weld puddle are protected and cooled with an inert gas.
