If you're a Mopar fan, you may want to look away. A handful of new Dodge Challenger SRT Demons were destroyed in a fire during transfer to their owners. The muscle cars were being transported on a Reliable Carrier trailer. While they were in Michigan, the trailer caught fire although it’s not yet known what the cause was but it is known that the fire was started in the trailer and not the cars.
Chrysler’s head of passenger car brands called affected customers personally and assured them their cars would be replaced with brand new ones. And with the production of the Demon being limited to 3,300, the question is, will there now be a production number of 3,303 or will 3 people now not have a shot at owning a Demon?
