Hurricane Harvey has been absolutely devastating to Texas, with a reported 30,000 to 40,000 destroyed homes as well as numerous deaths. It’s one of the worst hurricanes ever to hit the United States and the flood damage is still occurring right at this very moment. Floodwaters continue to rise, which threaten more lives and homes by the minute. Parts of Houston set a record for rainfall from a single storm anywhere in the continental United States, with a top reading on Tuesday afternoon at being 51.88 inches!

This video, from CNN, shows a garage belonging to a family in Houston severely flooding overtime. The timelapse video shows the flood waters in the garage slowly rising, with objects and debris from the garage floating in the floodwaters as the water rises. It’s a shocking video that shows just how bad the floodwaters have become. CNN reports that the family who submitted this video is safe.
