This 1973 Eldorado Is Awesome!

The Cadillac Eldorado is a true American classic. It was built between 1952-2002 and to this day, not many stand up in comparison.

The seventh generation Eldorado was built between 1971-1978. 1973 is the year in which the Eldorado was removed from the Fleetwood series and reestablished as an independent series. In addition to this, the 73′ models also received a facelift featuring new front and rear bumpers, egg-crate grille, decklid, rear fenders and taillamps.

Another interesting fact to point out is that in 1973, the Cadillac Eldorado was chosen as the pace car for the Indy 500. Only 566 special car convertibles were produced by Cadillac.

This is a great story of a great car and how it ended up in Peru, where Cadillac’s are a rare sight.
