The 2020 Mid-Engine Corvette Is Revealed With 495 Horsepower!

After a long wait and lots of hoping, Chevrolet is finally giving fans of the Corvette EXACTLY what they wanted – a mid-engine Corvette. The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was revealed in California and it did not disappoint.

The mid-engine Corvette features an LT2 6.2-Liter V8 that packs 495 Horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. According to Chevrolet, only a single part has been carried over from the last generation Corvette meaning this car was completely redesigned. The all-new LT2 V8 engine is proudly on display through a rear hatch window. The transmission is a dual-clutch automatic transmission which is a first-ever for the Corvette.

What about performance for the 2020 Corvette? The new Stingray can reach 60 miles per hour (mph) in less than three seconds! The price will start at less than $60,000.
