Subaru WRX STI vs An Olympic Bobsled Run!

If you’ve seen bobsleds at the Olympics before, you know how fast they can go and how crazy the crashes can be! Why wouldn’t it be crazy? You’re literally speeding down a track with ice on it. But have you ever wondered what it would be like to take a car on a bobsled track? Well the guys at Subaru did!

This Subaru WRX STI is being driven by rally champion Mark Higgins, so you know a professional is behind the wheel during this crazy stunt.

The Subaru WRX STI is definitely equipped to handle such a daring ride like this. It has all wheel-drive, to handle wild situations out there on the track. It has a 2.5-liter intercooled turbo premium unleaded H-4 engine that produces 305 horsepower. It also does 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 159 mph. In addition to this, it comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differentials.

Although the driver is a professional, it looks like the Subaru got in some pretty crazy situations during this video. Luckily the car didn’t get super damaged or flip or anything. What do you think of this? Would you drive your car down a bobsled track?
