PowerNation Week #11 – ’29 Model-A Hot Rod!

This week on PowerNation Courtney’s featured ride is a wild 1929 Model-A hot rod. Builder Justin Nichols of Nichols Paint and Fab in Wateska, Illinois is her guest who will share some of the challenges in building this over the top rod. In a year and a half build for owner Mike Molinski the team started with a stock Model-A body and took 5 1/2 inches out of the roof and channeled the body that’s sitting over a Nichols handmade frame.

The engine is a ’53 flathead with Edelbrock heads. The grill is from a ’32 Ford that’s chopped and narrowed. The paint color is vintage Honda Plum with lot’s of pearl and flake. This is one cool ride to check out this week on PowerNation. For more go to NicholsPaintandFab.com
