NASCAR May Be Quieting Their Stock Cars



What would NASCAR be without the roaring sounds of engines? Well, that may soon be happening if the proposal NASCAR is considering gets approved. According to Fox Sports, NASCAR thinks reducing noise from the stock cars will make it easier for fans to talk and have a more social environment. They’re hoping to attract younger race fans and think this might help.

This could soon turn into a sport that’s more about hanging out and being social than being apart of and experiencing the race. Most of the NASCAR experience is the sights, smells, and of course the noise. So why mess with that? What do you think…is NASCAR trying to kill their own brand?
