Memphis officers off the job after tipping over a portable toilet to get a suspect

WSMV Channel 4

Well, this stinks. Literally and figuratively.

According to a story on WSMV.com, four police officers in Memphis have been relieved of their duties with pay after they cornered a suspect in a portable toilet and knocked it over.

A video of the invident was taken at a construction site and posted to Facebook. It shows police checking the other portable toilets and then knocking over the toilet with 31-year-old Joseph Hampton, who is seen stumbling out.

The story says Hampton was wanted for criminal trespassing and evading arrest. At this time, the Memphis Police Department is launching an administrative investigation into the situation.
