1940s Ford Roadster burns up in fiery crash in California

A man driving a 1940s vintage roadster was critically injured in a fiery crash late last week in California.

According to ABC 7, the crash involved two toyotas and a 1944 Ford.

The story reports that the driver of the vintage car was heading northbound on I-5 when he lost control for an unknown reason and slammed into the median, causing the driver the be ejected from the vehicle. When the roadster landed on its side, it was struck by two oncoming vehicles.

ABC 7 says the driver was rushed to the hospital in severe critical condition, and the other drivers are expected to be ok.

At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
