Check out the '64 Ford Thunderbolt Courtney features this week on PowerNation. It's a tribute car built by Mike Rider, owner of Tinbender's Garage. He found a '64 Fairlane that had been in a barn for thirty-five years and in a year transformed the body back to like new. He dropped in a 453 smallblock stroker complete with Trick Flow Wedge Heads, a Comp Cam and Edelbrock dual carbs with cold air rammed through ducts connected to the headlights. It's got a TCI automatic transmission that hooks up to massive Mickey Thompson rubber and Weld Racing wheels. Mike built his as a tribute to all the men who raced these rare machines. Out of the original 100 factory Thunderbolts built, only sixty are known to exist. See one man's vision of the Thunderbolt this week on PowerNation!
