Tuesday March 4th, 2014 / 1:46 PM

This week on PowerNation Courtney gives you the first of two behind the scenes looks at the new movie “Need For Speed”, which opens in theaters March 14th. On our first installment she’s joined by Magnaflow’s Richard Waitas and the movie’s stunt coordinator Lance Gilbert. Richard will explain how his team from Magnaflow designed, built and maintained all the custom exhaust on the cars seen in the movie. And there’s a lot, 75 of them! From muscle cars to exotics to "The Beast"; a 2014 Ford F-450, the only truck in the film. It’s got a custom Magnaflow semi-like stack exhaust and custom bumper bars and halo also done by Magnaflow. Lance Gilbert will show you how they used it as a high speed refueling truck in the movie, including how stars Aaron Paul, Imogen Poots and Rami Malek pulled off the stunt of refueling the Mustang at speed. You have to see this one! Check it out this week on PowerNation. For more go to
