'58 Cameo

You don’t see many of these; a 1958 Chevy Cameo. This week on PowerNation Courtney features this exceptional truck done by the guys at Bay One Customs. Owner Don Sparks wanted to build the pickup he always thought GM should have built. The truck was in pieces when it arrived at Bay One. Owner T.C. Penick used sketches and drawings from GM designer Chuck Jordan to shape this Cameo into Chuck’s dream and made it a reality in a five year build. With over 5000 man hours on the restoration they redesigned the bed, added the rocket influenced spears on the side, built a full steel center console that’s scaled after the hood, used Bubinga wood in the bed and the interior and powered it with a 383 stroker. It’s one gorgeous truck! For more go to www.BayOneCustoms.com and you can see it on PowerNation this week.
