(ANNOUNCER)>> WHEN YOU'RE IN THE HEAT OF BATTLE PUSHING TOWARD THE FINISH LINE, THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS A FAULTY FLUID LINE LEAVING YOU STRANDED ON THE TRAIL. TODAY ON XTREME OFF ROAD, WHETHER IT'S COOLANT, FUEL, OR HYDRAULIC HOSES, WE SHOW YOU THE RIGHT WAY

TO PLUMB YOUR PROJECT. PLUS THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS YOU NEED TO MASTER TIG WELDING. AND A HARDCORE TRAIL RIG THAT YOU COULD WIN.

(IAN)>> WE'RE KICKING THINGS OFF TODAY WITH PROJECT RAGING BULL, OUR BIG BLOCK POWERED ROCK BOUNCER DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE AN ITALIAN SPORTS CAR. THE CHASSIS IS BACK FROM POWDER COAT, THE MAJORITY OF THE DRIVETRAIN IS IN PLACE.

WE'RE GONNA START TODAY BY WORKING ON SOME OF THE PLUMBING. BUT BEFORE WE DO THAT, LET'S TAKE A LOOK BACK AND SEE HOW THIS PROJECT STARTED. WITH THE POPULARITY OF ROCK BOUNCING EXPLODING, THERE WAS NO QUESTION THAT XTREME OFF ROAD NEEDED TO BUILD A RIG OF OUR OWN. SO WITH A PLAN AND A PILE OF TUBING, THE CHASSIS FOR OUR ROCK BOUNCER WAS CUT, BENT, ROLLED, AND NOTCHED UNTIL WE HAD A RIG THAT LOOKED LIKE A LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR. CUSTOM 14 BOLT AXLES WERE BUILT AND A BOMB PROOF TRANSMISSION WAS ASSEMBLED. THE LAST TIME WE SAW THIS PROJECT, IT HAD JUST RETURNED FROM POWDER COATING WITH LAMBO RED ON ALL THE TUBING.

NOW I'VE BEEN WORKING ON OUR ROCK BOUNCER FOR RIGHT AROUND 10 MONTHS, AND THAT'S A PRETTY STANDARD TIME FRAME WHEN YOU'RE BUILDING A CUSTOM BUGGY. EVEN IF YOU'RE WORKING ON IT AT HOME, IT'S EASY FOR THAT PROJECT TO STRETCH PAST THE ONE OR EVEN TWO YEAR MARK BEFORE YOU GET IT FINISHED. NOW WHEN YOU GET IT BACK FROM POWDER COATING WITH A BIG MILESTONE LIKE THIS AND YOU START FINAL ASSEMBLY, IT'S EASY TO MAKE A MISTAKE AND WANT TO SPEED THROUGH THE PROCESS, GET THE RIG ON THE TRAIL. BUT WHEN YOU'RE DOING THE PLUMBING AND WIRING ON YOUR RIG, THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO TAKE SHORTCUTS. A MISTAKE WITH YOUR PLUMBING COULD NOT ONLY LEAVE YOU STRANDED ON THE TRAIL, IT COULD ACTUALLY BURN YOUR BUGGY TO THE GROUND IF YOU DON'T DO IT CORRECTLY. NOW WHEN YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT PLUMBING ON A ROCK BOUNCER, THERE'S A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF HOSES. THERE'S PUSH LOCK HOSES, THERE'S HIGH PRESSURE POWER STEERING HOSES, THERE'S BRAIDED HIGH

PRESSURE FUEL LINES, AND EVEN PRECRIMPED HIGH

PRESSURE BRAKE HOSES. THERE'S EVEN FITTINGS TO CARRY THE COOLANT FROM THE FRONT OF THE BUGGY TO THE REAR MOUNTED RADIATOR. AND HOW YOU DEAL WITH EACH ONE OF THESE FITTINGS IS VERY IMPORTANT. WITH AN STYLE HIGH PRESSURE HOSES, IT'S IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THE HOSE AND THE FITTINGS ARE FROM THE SAME SUPPLIER. DASH SIX HOSE LIKE THIS PERMAFLEX FROM EARL'S NEEDS TO BE USED WITH EARL'S FITTINGS. SLIGHT VARIATIONS WITH DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS

COULD LEAD TO A FITTING COMING LOOSE.

WHEN BUILDING AN HOSES, THE OUTER NUT IS PLACED OVER THE HOSE. INSIDE THE OUTER NUT IS A REVERSE THREAD. SO WHILE YOU TURN IT COUNTER CLOCKWISE, IT PULLS ITSELF DOWN ONTO THE HOSE. ONCE THE NUT IS FULLY SEATED, I MARK THE BRAIDED LINE WITH A SHARPIE. IT'S VERY COMMON WHEN THE FITTING IS INSTALLED INTO THE NUT THAT IT CAN PUSH THE BRAIDED HOSE OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE NUT. BY MARKING IT, I INSURE THAT THE LINE DOESN'T MOVE. PUSH LOCK FITTINGS ARE VERY POPULAR FOR OIL SYSTEMS BUT CAN BE HARD TO FULLY SEAT ON THE FITTING BY HAND. A NEAT TOOL FOR THE JOB IS THIS PUSH LOCK HOSE PRESS FROM COOL TOOLS. IT HOLDS THE FITTING IN PLACE AND ALLOWS YOU TO

PUSH THE HOSE ONTO IT. HYDRAULIC STEERING FITTINGS ARE SIMILAR TO THE AN STYLE HOSE BUT THEY'RE DESIGNED TO HANDLE HIGHER PRESSURE.

AND THEREFORE A LITTLE BIT MORE DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE. ONCE THE OUTER NUT IS ON THE HOSE, THE FITTING IS THREADED INTO IT WITH THE HOSE MARKED LIKE THE FUEL LINE. ANOTHER OPTION WHEN PLUMBING YOUR PROJECT IS TO ORDER PREMADE AN LINES. NOW I'VE A COMPLETE SET OF BRAKE HOSES HERE THAT WE'VE GOT FROM CROWN PERFORMANCE. NOW THEY'RE FULLY BRAIDED, THEY HAVE A PROTECTIVE COATING ON THE OUTSIDE THAT'S AVAILABLE IN A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT COLORS, AND THE FITTINGS ON THE END ARE PREINSTALLED, CRIMPED, AND THEN THE LINE IS PRESSURE TESTED FOR LEAKS. THE NICE THING IS THEY'RE READY TO GO RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, BOLT THEM ONTO THE BUGGY. AND YOU'RE NOT LIMITED TO JUST BRAKE HOSES.

YOU CAN GET THEM IN A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT SIZES. YOU DO NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO ONE THING WHEN ORDERING PREMADE HYDRAULIC HOSE, AND THAT IS THE CLOCKING, OR THE ANGLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

YOUR 90 DEGREE FITTINGS. YOU CAN SEE WHEN I LAY OUT THIS HOSE THAT WE GOT FROM CROWN THAT HAS TWO 90'S ON IT, THEY'RE BOTH POINTED STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR. THAT MEANS THAT THIS HOSE IS MADE WITH ZERO CLOCK, OR NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 90'S.

NOW THAT COMES IN TO PLAY WHEN YOU INSTALL IT IN THE BUGGY. BY PUTTING THIS END ONTO THE BACK OF THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND BROUGHT THIS END UP TO THE

ORBITAL, IF THE CLOCK WAS OFF, WHEN I TIGHTEN THE

FITTING DOWN THE HOSE WOULD ACTUALLY BE PUT IN A BIND. BELIEVE IT OR NOT THAT PRESSURE ON THE BRAIDED

HOSE CAN ACTUALLY CAUSE THE FITTING TO

LOOSEN AND CAUSE A LEAK. AND THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT IN A HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. NOW THERE'S A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT WAYS TO PREVENT THAT CLOCKING PROBLEM FROM HAPPENING. YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND PREMAKE ALL YOUR HOSES WITH EITHER THESE STEERING KITS OR JUST AN FUEL LINES. FIGURE OUT ALL THE CLOCKING AND THEN THOSE WILL BECOME YOUR MOCK UP LINES THAT YOU CAN USE TO ORDER YOUR PREMADE LINES. OR YOU CAN JUST ORDER YOUR PREMADE LINES RIGHT AWAY WITH 190 ON ONE END AND A STRAIGHT LINE ON THE OTHER.

THAT MEANS THAT THEY'RE INFINITELY CLOCKABLE BECAUSE YOU'RE JUST TURNING THIS STRAIGHT HOSE. YOU'RE NOT TRYING TO TWIST THE 90 TO PUT THE HOSE IN A BIND. NOW WITH EVERYTHING WE'VE LEARNED ABOUT ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF AN LINES HERE, IT'S EASY TO TELL WE'RE GONNA USE A LITTLE BIT OF EACH ONE OF THESE ON OUR ROCK BOUNCER. AND NOW IT'S TIME TO START PLUMBING.

(ANNOUNCER)>> UP NEXT, A HIGH PERFORMANCE FUEL PUMP WITH A BUILT IN BACK UP.

PLUS KEEPING IT COOL WHEN THE HEAT IS ON.

(IAN)>> TODAY IN THE XOR SHOP WE ARE PLUMBING PROJECT RAGING BULL. STARTING WITH OUR FUEL LINES. USING SOME DASH SIX STEEL BRAIDED LINE, THE RETURN AND FEED LINES ARE ATTACHED TO THE BOTTOM OF OUR FUEL CELL.

STEERING HOSES ARE BUILT TO TRAVEL FROM THE ORBITAL

VALVE DOWN TO THE STEERING CYLINDER ON THE FRONT AXLE.

TRANSMISSION COOLER LINES ARE BUILT USING PUSH LOCK FITTINGS AND EARL'S SUPER STOCK HOSE. BRAKE LINE "T'S" ARE MOUNTED TO THE AXLE TRUSS

AND THE BRAKE LINES ARE SECURED USING CUSHION CLAMPS MAKING SURE THEY'RE NOT PINCHED DURING THE SUSPENSION MOVEMENT. TO COMPLETE OUR PLUMBING PROJECT TODAY WE NEED TO MOUNT A FUEL PUMP TO THE CHASSIS. AND IN A ROCK BOUNCING RIG WITH A HIGH HORSEPOWER ENGINE, YOU NEED A PRETTY SERIOUS FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM. NOW I'VE CHOSEN THE HOLLEY DOMINATOR FUEL PUMP. NOW THIS PUMP CAN HANDLE UP TO 1,830 NATURALLY ASPIRATED HORSEPOWER AND 1,425 FORCED INDUCTED ENGINES. BUT WHAT MAKES IT TRULY UNIQUE IS IT'S ACTUALLY TWO ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS WITH A SINGLE INLET AND A SINGLE OUTLET. IT'S NORMALLY USED IN DRAG RACING APPLICATIONS. WE HAVE A SECONDARY POWER ADDER AND YOU NEED AN EXTRA VOLUME OF FUEL AT A MOMENTS NOTICE. WHEN THAT POWER ADDER COMES ON THE SECONDARY FUEL PUMP IS ENERGIZED JUST TO GET MORE FUEL UP TO THE ENGINE. ON AN OFF ROAD RIG LIKE OUR BOUNCER, WE'RE ACTUALLY GONNA USE IT AS A MAIN AND A BACK UP PUMP. I'LL SIMPLY WIRE THE FUEL PUMP UP AND WE'LL RUN OFF OF ONE PUMP. IF SOMETHING EVER HAPPENS WHEN WE'RE ON THE TRAIL, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS CHANGE THE WIRES. I DON'T NEED TO CHANGE ANY OF THE PLUMBING TO GET THE MOTOR FIRED BACK UP AND RUNNING AGAIN. A TRUE BACK UP THAT'S READY TO ROCK AT ANY TIME.

NOW THERE ARE SOME INSTALLATION THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN YOU'RE PUTTING THIS PUMP IN. THE FIRST IS GOING TO BE A FILTER.

YOU NEED A 100 MICRON PREFILTER BEFORE IT GETS TO THE PUMP AND A 10 MICRON FILTER AFTER THE PUMP JUST TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF IT. YOU ALSO NEED TO MOUNT IT A VERY SPECIFIC WAY.

YOU DON'T WANT TO MOUNT IT SIDEWAYS LIKE THIS ON A FRAME RAIL OR YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF STARVING THIS UPPER PUMP, NO LUBRICATION, NO FUEL IN IT. YOU WANT TO MOUNT IT FLAT ON THE SURFACE LIKE THIS OR WITH THE PUMP FACING UP AND BELOW THE FUEL CELL. SO GRAVITY IS ALWAYS FEEDING THE PUMP AND IT'S FULLY SUBMERGED WITH FUEL. YOU'LL ALSO NEED A FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR TO CONTROL THE PRESSURE AT THE ENGINE. AND WE'LL MOUNT THIS UP ON A PIECE OF TUBE RIGHT BESIDE OUR BIG BLOCK. A FUEL PUMP MOUNTING PLATE IS CUT TO SIT BELOW THE FUEL CELL FROM SOME 188 ALUMINUM. USING THE SUPPLIED TEMPLATE, MOUNTING HOLES ARE DRILLED AND THE PUMP, ALONG WITH THE

PREFILTER, IS ATTACHED. THE REGULATOR IS MOUNTED TO THE CHASSIS JUST BEHIND THE MOTOR, AND THE FEED LINE FROM THE PUMP IS RAN INTO THE FUEL RAIL. THE RETURN LINE FROM THE OPPOSITE RAIL FEEDS INTO THE REGULATOR, AND THEN RETURNS BACK TO THE TANK. THE LAST PLUMBING PROJECT WE HAVE TO DO ON OUR ROCK BOUNCER IS GONNA REQUIRE A LITTLE BIT OF FABRICATION. I NEED TO GET THE COOLANT FROM THE ENGINE UP

FRONT TO THE REAR MOUNTED RADIATOR. SO I'M GONNA HAVE TO MODIFY AN EXISTING RADIATOR. I'M GONNA TAKE THIS HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM RADIATOR THAT I GOT FROM SUMMIT RACING AND I'LL BE REMOVING THE WATER NECK ENDS AND REPLACING THEM WITH ONE OF THESE UNIVERSAL WELD ON BUNGS. THAT WILL LET ME USE DASH 16 CLOTH BRAIDED HOSE ALONG WITH THESE DASH 16 FITTINGS THAT I ALSO GOT FROM SUMMIT RACING TO BUILD AN LINES THAT WILL CARRY COOLANT FROM THE FRONT OF THE BUGGY ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK.

(ANNOUNCER)>> COMING UP, TO TAKE YOUR WELDING TO THE NEXT LEVEL YOU'VE GOTTA PICK UP A TIG TORCH.

(ANNOUNCER)>> NOW SHOP TIPS FOR STRONGER, SAFER WELDS.

(IAN)>> LAST YEAR WE TOOK THE PROCESS OF MIG WELDING AND BROKE IT DOWN INTO A BUNCH OF SMALL SEGMENTS TO HELP YOU GUYS BECOME BETTER WELDERS. EVERYTHING FROM CHOOSING A MACHINE, WIRING UP A PLUG, WELDING A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF COUPONS IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS. AND HOPEFULLY BY NOW YOU GUYS HAVE BECOME VERY PROFICIENT MIG WELDERS. MAYBE YOU'VE EVEN TAKEN ON A BIG OFF ROAD PROJECT AND YOUR READY TO STEP UP TO THE NEXT TYPE OF WELDING MOST COMMONLY FOUND IN THE WORLD OF OFF ROAD FABRICATION. THAT TYPE OF WELDING IS RIGHT OVER HERE. THIS IS A TIG WELDER.

NOW JUST LIKE WITH THE MIG WELDER, THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT WE NEED TO COVER BEFORE YOU CAN BECOME A PROFICIENT WELDER USING A TIG MACHINE. SO WE'RE GONNA BREAK IT DOWN INTO MANY DIFFERENT STEPS. THIS WILL BE TIG WELDING PART ONE, AND WE'LL FOCUS ON THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A TIG AND A MIG WELDER. NOW THEY'RE BOTH TYPES OF SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING. SO THE TIG, LIKE THE MIG, HAS A BOTTLE OF SHIELD GAS ON THE BACK OF IT TO PROTECT THE MOLTEN PUDDLE. THE DIFFERENCE IS WITH A TIG WELDER WE'RE USING 100 PERCENT PURE ARGON. NOW FOR SOME SPECIALIZED WELDING APPLICATIONS THERE ARE SOME OTHER TYPES OF SHIELDING GASES USED, BUT IN THE WORLD OF OFF ROAD FABRICATION THE GO TO GAS IS GONNA BE 100 PERCENT PURE ARGON. JUST LIKE A MIG WELDER, THE HEAT OF THE WELD IS CONTROLLED BY ADJUSTING THE AMPERAGE ON THE FRONT OF THE MACHINE. BUT WITH A TIG WELDER, YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL OF THAT AMPERAGE OUTPUT WHILE YOU ARE WELDING. MOST MACHINES USE A FOOT PEDAL LIKE THIS ONE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO HAVE PRECISE CONTROL OF THE HEAT INPUT INTO THE MATERIAL. REMEMBER, THE MIG WELDER HAS FILLER MATERIAL THAT IS CONSUMED DURING THE WELDING PROCESS.

THE ARC IS STRUCK BY THE WELDING WIRE AS IT CONTACTS THE METAL. THE WELDING PROCESS BEGINS DIFFERENTLY WITH A TIG WELDER. AS THE AMPERAGE TRAVELS DOWN TO THE TORCH, IT THEN MOVES DOWN THE TUNGSTEN ELECTRODE THAT IS INSIDE IT. IT JUMPS FROM THE TUNGSTEN ELECTRODE TO THE WORK PIECE TO CREATE THE ARC, AND THAT IS WHAT CREATES THE MOLTEN PUDDLE. THE SHIELDING GAS TRAVELS TO THE TORCH AS WELL, AND IT'S DIRECTED AROUND THE TUNGSTEN WITH A NOZZLE SIMILAR TO A MIG WELDER. NOW INSIDE A TIG WELDER THERE IS NO SPOOL OF

FILLER WIRE TO HELP WITH THE WELDING PROCESS. ANY FILLER MATERIAL NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO THE

MOLTEN PUDDLE WITH YOUR FREE HAND.

THE TUNGSTEN IS NOT CONSUMED DURING THE WELDING PROCESS, AND ALSO DOES NOT TOUCH THE

BASE OR FILLER MATERIAL. IF IT DOES BECOME CONTAMINATED BY TOUCHING

THE BASE OR FILLER, IT WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE TORCH AND SHARPENED. THIS CAN BE DONE BY USING A DEDICATE GRINDING STONE

OR BY USING A SPECIALIZED TUNGSTEN SHARPENER. THE SHARPENER ALLOWS THE CHOICE OF DIFFERENT ANGLES AND ALSO INSURES NO CONTAMINATION OF THE TUNGSTEN.

THERE ARE A LOT OF ADVANTAGES TO THE TIG WELDING PROCESS. YOU CAN WELD MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF

MATERIAL, STEEL, STAINLESS STEEL, ALUMINUM MAGNESIUM, A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT ALLOYS. YOU CAN EVEN WELD THE DISSIMILAR MATERIALS TOGETHER WITH SOME SPECIFIC FILLER RODS. BECAUSE THE TUNGSTEN IS SHARP AND TO A POINT, YOU HAVE PRECISE CONTROL OVER THE ARC AND THE MOLTEN PUDDLE. THAT HELPS YOU LIMIT THE HEAT INPUT INTO THINNER MATERIAL, OR IN THE WORLD OF OFF ROAD FABRICATION INTO SOMETHING LIKE CHROMOLY TUBING WHERE YOU NEED TO REALLY LIMIT THE EFFECTIVE ZONE. THERE'S NO SPATTER OR SPARKS WITH TIG WELDERS. SO DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU WELD, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DAMAGE SOMETHING AROUND IT LIKE THE DASH INSIDE A BUGGY, YOU CAN EASILY WELD IT WITH THE TIG WELDER AND NOT WORRY ABOUT WRECKING ANYTHING ELSE AROUND. NOW IT'S NOT ALL SUNSHINE AND LOLLIPOPS THOUGH. THERE ARE SOME DISADVANTAGES TO THE TIG WELDER. THERE'S A JOINT PREP. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WORK PIECE THAT YOU'RE WELDING, AS WELL AS THE TUNGSTEN AND THE FILLER MATERIAL ARE FREE OF ANY CONTAMINANTS. IF WHEN YOU'RE WELDING YOU HIT SOMETHING LIKE A SMALL DROP OF OIL, OR MAYBE A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT, THAT'LL CAUSE A FISSURE TO HAPPEN IN THE MOLTEN PUDDLE AND IT WILL CONTAMINATE THE TUNGSTEN. YOU'LL HAVE TO TAKE THE TORCH APART AND CLEAN IT. BECAUSE OF THAT I'M SURE YOU'VE FIGURED OUT, TIG WELDING IS A SLOW, PRECISE PROCESS. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THE WORLD OF OFF ROAD FABRICATION, ONCE YOU'VE MASTERED MIG WELDING, THE

NEXT STEP IS GOING TO BE PICKING UP A TIG TORCH. AND WE ARE WELL ON OUR WAY.

(ANNOUNCER)>> COMING UP, YOU COULD WIN THIS BOMB PROOF TRAIL RIG.

(IAN)>> WE HAVE MADE A LOT OF HEADWAY ON OUR WD 40 SPECIALIST XTREME OFF ROAD MACHINE AND GIVEAWAY JEEP. THE ROLLING CHASSIS IS FINISHED AND WE'VE ALREADY PREFIT THIS ALUMINUM BODY TO IT.

BUT BEFORE WE MOUNT IT TO THE CHASSIS FOR GOOD, THERE'S A FEW THINGS WE NEED TO DO. THE FIRST HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE, AND THAT'S RIGHT UP FRONT WHERE WE'VE HAD A WRAP APPLIED THAT LOOKS

JUST LIKE THE SPECIALIST CAN. THE SPECIALIST SERIES CAN HAVE A UNIQUE BLACK BRUSH AND METAL BRUSHED COMBINATION. AND CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT WE'RE REUSING OUR FACTORY GRILL SHELL HOOD AND WINDSHIELD FRAME, WE'LL GO AHEAD AND HAVE THEM AS WELL AS THE FRONT HALF OF THE BODY WRAPPED IN A BLACK BRUSHED FINISH.

FOR THE REST OF THE ALUMINUM BODY, WELL WE'LL TAKE CARE OF THAT BY HAND. BY SPRAYING THE ALUMINUM TUB WITH SOME WD 40 MULTIUSE PRODUCT, IT PREVENTS THE SAND PAPER ON THE D/A SANDER FROM PACKING UP. ONCE THE FACTORY GRINDING MARKS ARE REMOVED FROM THE TUB, IT'S SANDED WITH SOME 180 GRIT PAPER ON A FILING BOARD, AND FINISHED OFF WITH SOME SCOTCHBRITE.

THEN THE BODY IS TEST FIT ON THE CHASSIS AND ANY INTERFERENCE IS MARKED.

IT'S NOT UNUSUAL TO HAVE TO CUT THE FLOOR OF ALMOST ANY JEEP TUB TO FIT AN ATLAS UNDERNEATH IT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU CLOCKED IT PERFECTLY FLAT LIKE I HAVE IN OUR CHASSIS. A FLAT ATLAS GIVES US GOOD GROUND CLEARANCE AND NICE DRIVE LINE ANGLES, BUT WE DO HAVE TO MODIFY THE FLOOR A LITTLE BIT MORE. NOW I MARKED THE BACK OF THE TUB BECAUSE I NEED TO MODIFY IT AS WELL FOR ITEMS WE'RE GOING TO MOUNT IN THE BACK AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THERE WERE NO INTERFERENCE ISSUES WITH ANY OF THE TUBING. THE BACK OF OUR JEEP IT IS ALL BUSINESS, JUST WHAT WE

NEED TO GO WHEELING. AN RTECH INDUSTRIES CORK CRATE TO CARRY EXTRA FLUID WHEN WE'RE ON THE TRAIL. A RUSTY'S OFF ROAD OPTIMA BATTERY BOX, IT'LL SECURE OUR BATTERY NICE AND SAFE BUT STILL ALLOW US TO GET TO IT IF WE EVER NEED TO SERVICE THE RIG WHEN WE'RE OUT ON THE TRAIL. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST A SUMMIT RACING ALL ALUMINUM FUEL CELL. NOW THIS IS A RATHER LARGE CELL, IT'S JUST OVER 20 GALLONS. THAT'S A LOT OF FUEL FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF THE COUNTRY. OUT EAST IT'S A LOT, OUT WEST IT'S JUST ENOUGH. AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS JEEP IS GOING TO END UP WHEN YOU GUYS WIN IT. SO I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ALWAYS HAD ENOUGH FUEL.

WE ARE ONE STEP CLOSER TO GETTING THE WD 40 SPECIALIST XTREME OFF ROAD MACHINE ON THE TRAIL. BEST OF ALL, THIS PROJECT COULD BE YOURS. JUST LOG ON TO POWERNATION TV DOT COM OR WD 40 DOT COM AND ENTER TO WIN.
