(ANNOUNCER)>> TODAY WE'RE TAKING AN ALREADY MODIFIED JEEP COMANCHE AND ADDING A CUSTOM THREE LINK FRONT SUSPENSION. AND WE'RE UPGRADING THE STEERING AND SHOCKS ON THIS UNIQUE TRAIL TRUCK. IT'S ALL TODAY HERE ON TRUCKS.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME TO TRUCKS. NOW WE'VE HAD JUST ABOUT EVERY JEEP MODEL MADE OVER THE LAST 30 YEARS OR SO IN THE SHOP AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. WE'VE HAD CJ'S, XJ'S, TJ'S, LJ'S, YJ'S, YOU NAME IT, IT'S BEEN IN HERE. EXCEPT FOR THE MJ, AND THAT'S WHAT THIS IS, A 1989 JEEP COMANCHE PICK UP TRUCK. MJ'S WERE PRODUCED BETWEEN 1985 AND 1992, WITH A BASE PRICE OF LESS THAN $7,000 DOLLARS.

THEY WERE AVAILABLE IN LONG BED AND SHORT BED VERSIONS, AS WELL AS TWO WHEEL DRIVE AND FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. AND THIS TRUCK ACTUALLY USED TO BE A TWO WHEEL DRIVE FIVE SPEED TRUCK, AND HAS SINCE BEEN CONVERTED TO BOTH FOUR WHEEL DRIVE AND AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION TO MAKE TRAIL RIDING THAT MUCH EASIER. THEN FROM ABOUT HERE FORWARD IT'S LARGELY SIMILAR TO A JEEP CHEROKEE, WITH THE OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE BEING, WELL COMANCHES HAVE A REMOVABLE BED. AND THAT BED PROVIDES STORAGE FOR TOOLS, A TOOL BOX, SPARE TIRE, AND SOME OTHER GEAR. NOW THE CAB AND THE BED SIDE ARE PROTECTED BY A PRETTY CLEAN EXOCAGE. NOW THIS TRUCK ALWAYS WAS A SHORT BED, BUT NOW IT'S EVEN SHORTER WITH THE OWNER CUTTING ALMOST 12 INCHES OUT OF THE REAR BED SECTION. THEN JUST CUT THE FRAME RAILS OFF PAST THE SHACKLE MOUNT, TAP THE END, AND REALLY IMPROVE DEPARTURE ANGLE. NOW JUST LIKE NEARLY EVERY OTHER TRAIL RIG OUT THERE, THIS ONE WAS BUILT ON A BUDGET. AND SINCE YOU CAN'T PUT DOORS ON IT ANYMORE, IT'S KIND OF RELEGATED TO TRAIL USE ONLY AND SEES VERY LIMITED STREET ACTION. NOW SINCE IT'S GOT AN EXOCAGE AND NO DOORS YOU MIGHT THINK THIS IS AN EXTREME RIG, BUT IT'S NOT.

IT RUNS A BASICALLY STOCK DRIVETRAIN, AND THE OWNER LIMITS BREAKAGE BY KEEPING THE OVERALL VEHICLE WEIGHT DOWN AND LIMITING IT TO 35 INCH TIRES. NOW THE REAR SUSPENSION IS PRETTY BASIC AND WORKS PRETTY WELL, BUT THE FRONT SUSPENSION, IT'S JUST AN OLD SCHOOL SHORT ARM LIFT KIT WITH DROP BRACKETS, AND WELL IT'S GOT A FEW ISSUES. BUT RATHER THAN SPEND SOME CASH ON A BOLT IN OR COMPLETE REPLACEMENT FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM, WE'RE GONNA BUILD OUR OWN THREE LINK TODAY. NOW LIKE WE TOLD YOU, THE FRONT SUSPENSION HAS A FEW ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE DEALT WITH. THE MOST OBVIOUS BEING THAT THE FRONT AXLE HAS MORE DROOP OR DOWN TRAVEL ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AS OPPOSED TO THE PASSENGER SIDE, AND THAT'S BECAUSE THE TRACK BAR IS HITTING THE TRACK BAR BRACKET LIMITING THE DROOP. ALSO CHECK OUT THE CONTROL ARM ANGLES. SINCE THEY'RE SO SHORT, ANY REAL CHANGE IN RIDE HEIGHT OFFERS UP A PRETTY DRASTIC CHANGE IN CONTROL ARM ANGLE. AND LASTLY CHECK OUT THE TIE ROD END WHERE IT ATTACHES TO THE PITMAN ARM. MY GUESS IS IT'S ABOUT AT ITS LIMIT OF TRAVEL. WE NEED TO REDUCE THE ANGLE OF THE DRAG LINK. ALSO THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE REAR WE WANT TO SHOW YOU. AND LIKE WE SAID, THE REAR SUSPENSION DOES WORK PRETTY WELL, BUT THE SHOCKS ARE LIMITING AXLE ARTICULATION, CHECK IT OUT. DISCONNECT THE SHOCKS, LOWER THE AXLE, THAT OUGHT

TO BE PRETTY CLEAR. THAT'S WHERE WE WERE, YEAH, YEAH, THERE'S MORE GAINS TO BE HAD. WE GET SOME NEW BRACKETS WELDED ON, NEW PAIR OF SHOCKS, WE'LL BE IN GOOD SHAPE BACK HERE.

LISTEN FOR THE SOUND.

(KEVIN)>> YEAH.

(RYAN)>> THE WORLD'S LARGEST TAMBOURINE, BUT THOSE ARE BALANCED TOO MUCH.

(KEVIN)>> NOW THIS TRUCK DOESN'T NEED A BRAKE UPGRADE, AND THE AXLE ALREADY HAS GEARS AND AN AIR LOCKER.

SO WE'RE LEAVING THE MAIN ASSEMBLY ALONE. DO YOU WANT YOUR PRY BAR.

(RYAN)>> NOPE, THANK YOU.

(KEVIN)>> THERE WE GO.

(RYAN)>> WELL THAT WAS SMALL.

(KEVIN)>> NOW LIKE RYAN SAID, WE'RE PUTTING A THREE LINK ON THIS RIG. SO THAT MEANS WE'VE GOT TO CLEAN UP THE FRAME RAILS AS WELL AS REMOVE THE BRACKETS OFF OF THE AXLE, EXCEPT FOR THE SPRING CUTS. NOW WE'RE NOT GONNA USE THIS CAST MOUNT, AND THIS GUY'S JUST TOO FLIMSY TO WITHSTAND THE PRESSURE THAT'S GONNA BE EXERTED ON THE THREE LINK. SO IT'S GOT TO GO AWAY TOO, MAKE SOMETHING A LITTLE BIT BEEFIER. SO WE GET TO MAKE A LITTLE BIT OF FIRE.

THAT'S HOT.

(KEVIN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS WHERE WE'RE GETTING READY TO UPGRADE THE FRONT SUSPENSION ON THIS JEEP MJ, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS A COMANCHE PICK UP TRUCK. NOW ALL THE BRACKETS ARE CLEANED UP, INCLUDING THE UNIBODY FRAME RAILS, AND YOU'VE ACTUALLY SEEN US DO THIS BEFORE ON AN XJ OR A CHEROKEE. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE COMANCHE'S GOT SOME EXTRA BRACING BUT IT'S BASICALLY THE SAME PROCEDURE. NOW THE DANA 30 FRONT AXLE IS STRIPPED DOWN OF EVERYTHING

EXCEPT FOR THE SPRING CUPS, WHICH WE'RE GONNA REUSE. BUT THE NEW SYSTEM IS NOT JUST A KIT IN THE BOX. THE NEW THREE LINK IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

(RYAN)>> NOW THE PARTS WE'RE GONNA BE USING TO COMPLETE OUR CUSTOM THREE LINK ARE BUILDER'S PARTS FROM RUSTY'S OFF ROAD. WE PICKED UP FORGED FLEX ENDS AND TUBE INSERTS FOR THE LOWER LINKS, AND HEAVY DUTY ROD ENDS WITH HIGH MISALIGNMENT SPACERS FOR THE THIRD UPPER LINK. FOR THE TRACK BAR WE'VE PICKED UP NEW ROD ENDS AND INSERTS, AND AN OVER THE KNUCKLE STYLE TRACK BAR BRACKET. WE ALSO PICKED UP SOME REAR SHOCK MOUNTS TO RELOCATE THE REAR SHOCKS AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE TRAVEL THAT'S THERE. NOW WE PICKED UP A HANDFUL OF BRACKETS AND TABS TO COMPLETE THIS THREE LINK INSTALLATION. AND OUR ORIGINAL PLAN WAS TO USE A BRACKET LIKE THIS TO MOUNT OUR LOWER ARM TO THE UNIBODY FRAME

RAIL ONCE WE PLATED IT. BUT AFTER TALKING TO RUSTY, HE HAD A DIFFERENT SUGGESTION. HE THOUGHT WE OUGHT TO TAKE A LOOK AT A NEW BRACKET THEY'VE DESIGNED THAT SOME JEEP SPEED RACERS ARE USING. IT'S PRETTY SLICK! THIS SANDWICHES THE UNIBODY FRAME RAIL AND THIS REINFORCEMENT PLATE COMES IN FROM THE INSIDE OF THE CAB

AND SANDWICHES THE SHEET METAL AND THE FRAME RAIL. ONCE IT'S BOLTED INTO PLACE, WELL YOU CAN JUST WELD IT AS DESIRED AND FINISH THINGS UP, AND YOU'LL HAVE ONE GOOD AND STRONG MOUNT. THESE ARE THE BRACKETS WE'RE USING.

NOW BEFORE WE INSTALL THE NEW LOWER CONTROL ARM MOUNTS, WE WANT TO DO SOME FRAME RAIL PLATING TO HELP DISTRIBUTE THE LOAD THAT THE ARMS ARE GONNA PUT ON THE FRAME RAIL.

NOW LIKE WE TOLD YOU EARLIER, THE NEW CONTROL ARM MOUNTS ARE DESIGNED TO BOLT ON. SO AFTER MARKING AND DRILLING SOME PILOT HOLES, WE CAN FINISH DRILLING THEM OUT TO FIT THE PROVIDED HARDWARE. ALRIGHT, NOW THE THREE BOLTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BRACKET ARE EASY ENOUGH TO GET TO, BUT THE ONES ON THE INSIDE CAN BE A LITTLE TRICKY. SO YOU CAN EITHER GET CREATIVE WITH THE WRENCH, YEP, OR YOU CAN EVEN WELD THE NUT TO THE BRACKET OR THIS MIDDLE BOLT LIKE WE DID. THAT'LL SECURE THIS TOP PLATE, MAKE EVERYTHING

NICE AND STRONG. THEN IT WAS TIME FOR MORE FRAME PLATING, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING OUR THIRD LINK UPPER ATTACHMENT POINT IS GOING TO BE IN THIS SAME AREA. THEN AFTER MAKING A FEW PLUG WELDS, WE MESSAGED THE PLATE TO FIT THE CONTOUR OF THE FLOOR BOARD. A FEW MORE PLUG WELDS AND SOME PERIMETER WELDING, AND WE WERE DONE. THEN WE COULD WORK ON THE THIRD LINK BRACKET. NOW WE WANTED TO KEEP THIS TAB OR BRACKET AS CLOSE TO THE FLOORBOARD AS POSSIBLE TO MAXIMIZE THE AMOUNT OF VERTICAL SEPARATION IN BETWEEN THE LOWER CONTROL ARM MOUNT PIVOT POINT AND THE UPPER CONTROL ARM PIVOT POINT.

THEN USING THE ACTUAL ROD END TO SPACE THE TABS, WE TACKED EVERYTHING IN PLACE. NOTE THE TAPE AROUND THE THREADS OF THE ROD END. YOU DON'T WANT WELD SPATTER GETTING STUCK IN THOSE THREADS AND RUINING YOUR PART. WELL I'M BURNING IN.

ALRIGHT, WITH ALL THE BRACKETS AND TABS WELDED ON THE BODY, OR FRAME SIDE OF THINGS, WE CAN GET TO WORK ADDING PARTS TO THE AXLE. NOW BEFORE WE TORE THIS THING DOWN, WE TOOK SOME BEFORE MEASUREMENTS. WE'VE GOT THE JEEP SITTING AT RIDE HEIGHT. WE'VE GOT THE AXLE WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE. WE'VE GOT THE FRONT AXLE CENTER LINE FIGURED OUT, AND WE'VE GOT THE CASTOR AND PINION ANGLE MATCHED UP TO WHERE IT WAS BEFORE. NOW START ADDING SOME PARTS. TO MAXIMIZE TRACK BAR LENGTH, WE PLACE THE TRACK BAR BRACKET AS FAR OVER TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AS POSSIBLE. THEN ADDED THE THIRD LINK MOUNT RIGHT NEXT TO IT. THE LOWER CONTROL ARM MOUNTS WERE FLIPPED OVER AND CUSTOM FIT TO OUR APPLICATION. NOW TO MAKE OUR CONTROL ARMS WE'RE USING 188 WALL TWO INCH DOM AND TUBE INSERTS FROM RUSTY'S. WE'VE GOT LITTLE HOLE DRILLED FOR OUR PLUG WELD JUST FOR EXTRA INSURANCE. NOW SINCE THE TUBE INSERTS AND THE TUBE ITSELF IS RATHER THICK, WE GRABBED OUR MILLERMATIC 252 TO MAKE SURE WE HAD PLENTY OF AMPS TO BURN IN THIS HEAVY METAL. ALRIGHT, AND IN ABOUT FOUR HOURS THAT'LL BE COOL ENOUGH TO WORK WITH. NOW THE HARDWARE USED TO ATTACH THE UPPER LINK IS CRITICAL SINCE THERE IS ONLY ONE LINK TO KEEP THE AXLE FROM ROTATING. SO WE WENT TO INDUSTRIAL DEPOT AND PICKED UP SOME GRADE

EIGHT FIVEEIGHTHS BOLTS. THE LOWERS USE NINESIXTEENTHS HARDWARE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY FASTENER ISSUES. DRIVER'S SIDE AND WE CAN MOCK THIS THING UP

OR AT LEAST FLEX IT.

(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS. TODAY WE'RE SHOWING YOU HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR FRONT SUSPENSION AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU'RE SAVING MONEY USING RUSTY'S OFF ROAD BUILDER PARTS. NOW THERE'S A SITUATION THAT COMES UP WHEN YOU'RE USING A DANA 30 FRONT AXLE ON ONE OF THESE RIGS. THE SITUATION IS WHEN YOU CONVERT TO A HIGH STEER OR USE AN AFTERMARKET DIFF COVER, THE TIE ROD LITERALLY COMES INTO CONTACT WITH THE DIFF COVER ITSELF. HECK, WE EVEN RAN INTO THIS PROBLEM WHEN WE DID THE

CHEEP CHEROKEE A WHILE AGO IF YOU REMEMBER. BUT THE SOLUTION IS REALLY SLICK. RUSTY'S HAS GOT YOU COVERED, CHECK THIS OUT. THE MAGIC, OFF SET TIE ROD ENDS THAT LITERALLY SPACE THE TIE ROD OUT AWAY FROM THE DIFF COVER EVEN IN THE LOCK TO LOCK TURN. NOW THE LINK ITSELF IS HEAVY DUTY. VERY UNLIKELY YOU'RE GONNA BEND THAT GUY, BUT THE BEST FEATURE OF THIS STEERING UPGRADE IS THAT ALL THE TAPERS AND ALL THE ENDS ARE DESIGNED TO WORK WITH THE STOCK TAPERS ON BOTH THE KNUCKLES AND THE PITMAN ARM, MAKING THIS A VERY SENSIBLE BOLT IN.

(RYAN)>> NOW YOU CAN SEE THE TRACK BAR WAS BARELY HITTING THE DIFF COVER AT CLOSE TO FULL BUMP. I GUESS WE COULD COME IN HERE AND REBUILD THIS TRACK BAR

BRACKET, BUT I THINK IF WE COME IN HERE AND JUST DRILL A HOLE A LITTLE BIT HIGHER, RAISE THE TRACK BAR FRAME END UP A LITTLE BIT, WE CAN FIX THIS THE EASY WAY. ALRIGHT NOW WE'VE GOT OUR LINK MOUNTS AND BRACKETS FULLY

BURNED INTO THE AXLE AND WE'RE ABOUT READY TO MOVE ON TO INSTALLING SOME SHOCKS. NOW THE SHOCKS WE PICKED OUT ARE NEW FROM RUSTY'S AND THEY'RE THE RX 200 SERIES. IT'S A HIGH PRESSURE MONOTUBE SHOCK WITH PROGRESSIVE VALVING

THAT OUGHT TO WORK REALLY WELL WITH OUR COMANCHE. NOW THE TOP, IT'S JUST GONNA BOLT IN BUT WE KINDA SACRIFICED THE LOWER MOUNTS. SO WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO MAKE A CUSTOM LOWER MOUNT. WE'VE GOT ABOUT 10 AND A HALF INCHES OF SHOCK TRAVEL TO WORK WITH. WE WANT TO SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE, PROBABLY ABOUT FIVE INCHES OF UP TRAVEL AND FIVE AND A HALF INCHES OF DOWN TRAVEL. NOW WE JUST NEED TO MAKE A MOUNT. NOW WHAT WE CAME UP WITH WAS PRETTY BASIC. WE USED A COMBINATION OF THREESIXTEENTHS ANGLE IRON AND SOME EIGHTH INCH PLATE TO ACT AS A GUSSET. WE ALSO USED THE SHOCK MOUNTING BAR TO SPACE THE BRACKET OUT.

YOU MAY HAVE ALSO NOTICED WE TACK WELDED THE NUTS TO THE BRACKET, AND THAT MAKES INSTALLATION EASY. NOW BECAUSE OF WHERE THIS SHOCK SITS, WE'RE TRYING TO LEAVE THIS LOWER CONTROL ARM BOLT ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT HAVING TO REMOVE THE SHOCK, BUT THAT ONLY LEAVES WITH ABOUT FOUR INCHES OF SHOCK UP TRAVEL, WHICH IS ABOUT WHAT THE TRUCK ROLLED IN HERE WITH BUT SHORT OF OUR GOAL. NOW WE ONLY TACK WELDED THE BRACKETS IN PLACE. BEFORE WE FULLY BURN IT IN WE'RE GONNA SET THE TRUCK DOWN ON THE ACTUAL COIL SPRINGS WITH THE NEW TIRES, FLEX IT OUT, AND SEE IF IT'S SOMETHING WE CAN WORK WITH OR IF IT'S SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. NOW FIRST WE HAD TO REMOUNT THE KNUCKLE SO WE COULD INSTALL THE TIE ROD END FROM THE TOP. THEN IT WAS A COUPLE OF INSERTS FROM RUSTY'S

TO FINISH THINGS UP.

NOW IF WE DIDN'T HAVE THESE OFFSET TIE ROD ENDS, AS WE MADE A LOCK TO LOCK TURN, THIS TIE ROD WOULD COME INTO CONTACT WITH BOTH THE DIFF COVER AND PROBABLY THE COIL SPRING BUCKET.

AND IF WE STILL HAD SWAY BAR END LINKS, WELL THE MOUNTS FOR THOSE TOO. WITH THESE WE'VE GOT PLENTY OF CLEARANCE.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK TO THE SHOP. WELL WE'VE HAD A CHANCE TO FINISH UP THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND PAINT THE LINKS AND THE AXLE. OUT BACK WE'VE INSTALLED OUR NEW RUSTY'S SHOCKS USING A COUPLE OF BRACKETS THAT RUSTY'S SUPPLIED. NOW WE'VE GOT THEM MOUNTED SO NOTHING HANGS BELOW THE AXLE TUBE FOR MAXIMUM GROUND CLEARANCE. AND THE BACK OF THE BRACKET KINDA PROTECTS THE BOTTOM OF THE SHOCK. AND THE MOUNTS, THEY LOOK JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER THAN THE COBBLED TOGETHER MOUNTS THAT WERE ON HERE. NOW WE CAN INSTALL THE TIRES AND WHEELS. SPEAKING OF WHICH, CHECK THEM OUT.

(KEVIN)>> NOW THIS SET OF WHEELS AND TIRES PROBABLY HAS

A LITTLE BIT OF LIFE LEFT IN THEM, BUT I THINK YOU'LL AGREE THEY'VE SEEN BETTER DAYS.

SO WE'RE GONNA GIVE THEM AN EARLY RETIREMENT AND REPLACE THEM WITH A NEW SET FROM MICKEY THOMPSON. NOW THESE ARE THE CLASSIC TWO STYLE WITH A MAT BLACK FINISH

AND A PROTECTIVE CLEAR COAT. THESE ARE 16 BY EIGHTS, AND I THINK IT'S A GREAT LOOKING

WHEEL, BUT WHAT'S REALLY COOL ARE THE TIRES. THESE ARE MICKEY THOMPSON'S NEW BAJA CLAW TTC RADIAL, AND THEY FEATURE AN EXTRA WIDE FOOTPRINT, GENEROUS SIPPING, AND THESE LITTLE MUD SCOOPS THAT HELP UNLOAD THE DEBRIS AS THE TIRE REVOLVES. BUT THE COOL THING AND WHAT WE'VE SEEN ACTUALLY WORK VERY WELL ON THE TRAIL ARE THESE SIDE BITERS, THAT COMBINED WITH A FLEXIBLE YET STRONG SIDE WALL ALLOW YOU TO GET TRACTION FROM SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN THE TREAD FACE ITSELF. AND THIS 35 INCH TALL COMBINATION IS GONNA GIVE THIS TRUCK A FUNCTIONAL FACE LIFT.

(RYAN)>> NOW WITH THE TRUCK BACK DOWN ON THE GROUND, WELL THE TIRES AND WHEELS MAKE QUITE THE VISUAL IMPACT. BUT MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT WAS THE DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT WE MADE IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION, AND WE'LL SHOW YOU HOW IT FLEXES HERE IN A SECOND. NOW LIKE WE TOLD YOU EARLIER, THIS TRUCK DOESN'T SEE WHOLE LOT OF STREET USE, AND THAT'S ABOUT ALL THESE STOCK HEADLIGHTS ARE GOOD FOR. FOR NIGHT TIME TRAIL RIDES YOU NEED A LITTLE BIT MORE. THAT'S WHY WE PICKED UP A COUPLE OF POWERFUL ORACLE OFF ROAD LIGHTS. THESE ARE 24 LED LIGHTS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF RUNNING ON 12 OR 24 VOLTS BECAUSE THEY COME WITH THEIR OWN INLINE REGULATOR. IT'S GOT A HEAVY CAST ALUMINUM HOUSING WITH COOLING FINS, AND THEY PUT OUT A WHOPPING 2,800 LUMENS. AND IF THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE MUCH, CHECK THIS OUT. THAT'LL JUST ABOUT BLIND YOU. SO YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE AIMED CORRECTLY. NOW THESE ORACLE LIGHTS ARE GOING TO GET MOUNTED TO THE BRUSH GUARD, SOMEWHERE ON THE BUMPER THAT DOESN'T

INTERFERE WITH RADIATOR AIR FLOW TOO BAD. BUT EITHER WAY, NO MATTER WHERE THEY END UP, WE'RE GONNA HAVE A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT IN OFF ROAD LIGHTING. ALRIGHT, WELL HERE IT IS ALL FLEXED OUT. THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE IS STUFF UP IN THE WHEEL WELL. THE LEFT FRONT IS JUST ABOUT BELOW THE ROCKER PANEL, AND OUR CUSTOM THREE LINK IS FLAT OUT WORKING.

AND IT JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU, IF YOU'RE WILLING TO INVEST SOME ELBOW GREASE AND GO WITH BUILDER PARTS INSTEAD OF A KIT, YOU CAN NOT ONLY SAVE SOME CASH, YOU CAN ALSO GET SOME GREAT RESULTS.

(KEVIN)>> IF THE LAST STEP IN DETAILING YOUR VEHICLE IS APPLYING A WET LOOK TIRE COATING BUT YOU'RE SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING THE MESSY SILICONE STUFF SPLATTERED ALL UP THE SIDE OF YOUR CAR, OR WORSE, YOU'VE RUN INTO CONTAMINATION PROBLEMS FROM THE SILICONE IN THE PAINT AND

BODY SHOW, WELL DUPLICOLOR'S NEW TIRE SHINE COATING IS

GOING TO BE SOMETHING YOU'RE INTERESTED IN, CHECK IT OUT. NOW SINCE IT'S A SEMI PERMANENT COATING, IT REQUIRES A LITTLE BIT OF MASKING AGAINST YOUR SHINNY PARTS. WITH THREE SIMPLE COATS WITH A FEW MINUTES IN BETWEEN, AND IT'S DRY TO THE TOUCH IN 20 MINUTES WITH

NO SILICONE RESIDUE. NOW SINCE IT BONDS TO THE SURFACE OF THE TIRE, IT'S NOT GONNA SLING OFF IN DRY WEATHER AND IT WON'T WASH OFF IN WET WEATHER. AND IT'S BODY SHOP SAFE, WHICH IS WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT THE MOST. THANKS FOR WATCHING TRUCKS, WE'LL SEE YOU GUYS NEXT TIME. I'VE GOT TO DO THE OTHER HALF.
